I blog, You blog, He blogs

Brian Williams flew in from New York, having touched down briefly following his trip to Jerusalem, to talk up “NBC Nightly News.” A sign of the times: critics blogged the press conference as Williams talked about his blog. http://dailynightly.msnbc.com/ The difference is, Williams’ blog is full of information and is thoughtfully written.
In spite of questions pertaining to the Katie Couric promotional blitz or the burden of being the veteran among the three current network anchors, Williams stuck to talk of news. He’s convinced “these are dangerous times,” notably in the Middle East, and he’s quite passionate on the subject of how the residents of New Orleans were let down by various levels of government during the hurricane.
His first-person Katrina reporting, a documentary that’s already aired on cable, will be broadcast on NBC Aug. 28.
